Situated in the heart of the historic town of Caerleon, alongside the site of the Roman baths. Be it a romantic meal, a family celebration, or a business meeting, The Red Fort offers a warm welcome to all who visit.
Bringing together traditional Indian cuisine, while catering to the tastes of the modern world.
Over the past Century Indian cuisine has travelled from its Indian Sub-Continent heartland to provide some of Britain’s favourite dishes. Through its journey the food has evolved to suit local tastes. We hope to continue this tradition with some of our unique experimental dishes.
The Red Fort Restaurant takes its name from the Red Fort in Delhi, India, a United Nations World Heritage Site. The Red Fort was constructed in 1639 under the rule of Mogul Emperor Shah Jahan, the builder of the world famous Taj Mahal, as the Royal residence in the Capital of the Mogul Empire.
Our aim at The Red Fort is to combine elements of different culinary traditions, passed down through generations, with our a la carte menu designed by our award winning chef.
